Jordan had to work at night and I still got no bike so I walked to the university to get to know some teachers and subjects from my faculty. I met fellow Industrial Design students and afterwards there was an introduction of some institutions around Rovaniemi. It seems that there’s alot to discover around here. We wanted to get internet in our appartment but sadly, neither DNA or Elisa would give us a contract because we are not Finnish and have not been living here for long enough, and the prepaid package was way too expensive.
DNA was changing their decoration and they wanted to get rid of some lamps where they would put advertisements in. We liked them and we could take them for free so we got a shopping cart and put the lamps inside and started walking home. It was quite a long walk, but now we have really cool light and we can put our own photos inside. Henna had an espresso machine that she wouldn’t use and that we could have too, so our rooms are getting really cool!
