Once the sun had set and we got out of the fireplace, we could see uncountable many stars, it was amazing! The lack of any ambient light and the absence of nearby cities, highways or similar sources of light was responsible for a night so dark I’ve never seen before, it was amazing!
Sadly, we didn’t see any northern lights (or they were so weak that we didn’t realise) but it sure was amazing.
